KashKin are a seven-piece band hailing from Australia’s deep south on the edge of the Southern Ocean. Since coming together in March 2015 the band have been playing their brand of infectious funk to a growing and enthusiastic fanbase, including performances at the Taste of Tasmania, the Tasmanian Composers Festival and Concert, the Australian Wooden Boat Festival, and and live radio broadcasts.
In addition to live performances, the band’s music has been receiving airplay nationally and internationally in the US and Europe, including being featured on BBC radio on the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show where they were on the playlist alongside artists such as James Brown, Funkadelic, Michael Jackson, Maceo Parker and others.
The band released the eponymously titled EP ‘KashKin’ in 2017, and their followup album ‘Alpha’ was released in March 2018 and is available online from iTunes, Amazon et al.
